MUSIC

At Mooroopna North Primary School all students are provided the opportunity to learn and develop a range of musical skills through our classroom music program.  Students explore musical elements including beat, rhythm, melody and musical notation through singing and playing a variety tuned and untuned percussion instruments.  During classes students are encouraged to explore music as they create their own compositions and enjoy performing both in class and at special events.  Students are able to build on other areas of their learning through music, learning songs Auslan and extending inquiry topics through the performing arts.
